Everything is matter. But have you thought about what matter matters most to you?
Is it your job? Is it your relationship? Is it your family? Is it your car? Is it your house? Is it your money? I could go on building this list of all that matters to you and it may even be never ending.
Today, it occurred to me that I am just a witness. A witness of all that is. A witness of all that surrounds me. A witness of all that I experience. A witness to people, places and objects. We are all eternal witnesses of all that is transient. The only constant is change.
This is so grounding to me you see. Because it puts everything into perspective. Nothing we have or own is ever truly ours, although we’d like to think and believe otherwise. Everything is temporary and ever changing.
So enjoy the experience! Enjoy what matters to you in this moment. Appreciate all that is. Be forever grateful for all that was. And be present, because that is where the power truly lies!
It’s important to acknowledge that we are the matter that matters the most. Because that is all we ever truly have, in every moment, until the end of time.
