Springing into September

It’s the first day of Spring. Do I need to say more? It’s definitely my favourite season of the year.

As the days get longer, the light gets brighter, the colours get more vibrant and the expressions on peoples’ faces become more uplifted… these are some of the simple and yet wonderful reasons as to why I’m springing into September.

Yes, I’ve been quiet lately. I’ve recently become a student again and have returned ‘back to school’ to study! It’s been a really enjoyable and interesting journey thus far (only 3 weeks in) and I look forward to embracing all the new learning, connections  and excitement that is yet to come.

I love the magic of new beginnings. And the beginning of spring has got my heart smiling and my senses open to new experiences. Although sometimes life overwhelms me, and I feel overcome by fear, anxiety and self-doubt, these are the deepest and darkest moments when I pray to the universe to remove all stress and worry from my mind and to give me the perfect peace that will carry me through the waves of life.

Life, as Macbeth tells us, is ‘a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing’. In a season that is yet to be packed full of action, it is worth remembering our beloved Shakespeare’s words. It is truly important to keep your sense of perspective as you witness dramatic moves, shifts, situations and decisions. It is easier to have faith in your feelings about what is really going on and to choose to consciously focus on what will serve your highest purpose.

In a world where you can be anything… choose to be kind, choose love! And always remember, you’re being taken care of by a kindly sky.

Stay blessed.
